Basic data collection, research, experimental management, and resource evaluation activities which do not result in a serious or major disturbance to an environmental resource. The geotechnical boring will be done for information gathering purposes and as part of an action which a public agency has not yet approved, adopted or funded. During review of the project, no exceptions as described in Section 15300.2 of the CEQA Guidelines were determined to be applicable.
