This is a public project with the Town of Corte Madera acting as the applicant and Lead Agency. The work consists of construction of a shared pedestrian and bicycle pathway along Paradise Drive between Seawolf Passage and 300 feet east of Prince Royal Drive, and traffic calming along Spindrift passage from Seawolf Passage to Staghound Passage. This initiative aims to provide separated pedestrian and bicycle facility connection along Paradise Drive where no infrastructure currently exists. All work will take place in the Town of Corte Madera.

This project will add shared pedestrian and bicycle facilities within the existing right-of-way of roadways in Corte Madera. These facilities are in accordance with the description of the Existing Facilities Categorical Exemption (Sec. 15301(c)), which includes "existing highways and streets, sidewalks, gutters, bicycle and pedestrian trails, and similar facilities...and other alterations such as the addition of bicycle facilities...and other similar alterations that do not create additional automobile lanes." This project does not involve expansion of the Town's roadway network.
