The California Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC), pursuant to authority granted under California Code of Regulations (CCR), Title 22, Division 4.5, Chapter 20, Sec. 66270.61, has issued an Emergency Permit to the World Oil Environmental Services, (EPA ID# CAD028277036) to allow for storage of a Toxic Substance Control Act (TSCA) waste greater than ten (10) days. Specifically, Truck Number 4024 containing 2,520 gallons of used oil and used antifreeze contaminated with polychlorinated biphenyl (PCB) will be stored until the Facility can discuss the status with United State Environmental Protection Agency prior to disposal to ensure proper disposal for the waste. The contaminated used oil and used antifreeze is currently stored at Pan Pacific Petroleum Co, dba World Oil Transportation, terminal located at 1850 Coffee Road, Bakersfield, California 93308.
