Document Description
In November 2018, the Woolsey Fire resulted in the destruction of facilities at Leo Carrillo State Park including the staircase accessing the South Beach area from Pacific Coast Highway (PCH). A replacement staircase would be constructed approximately 200 feet WSW of the original location in order to avoid cultural artifacts which surround the original staircase location while still providing visitor access. Further project details and measures to be implemented to avoid and/or minimize environmental impact may be obtained by submitting a request to the project Environmental Coordinator listed below.
