Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes to restore the surface of the existing highway from postmile (PM) 17.9 to 30.7 on State Route (SR) 128 in Mendocino County.
The purpose of this project is to restore pavement, improve safety, upgrade transportation management systems assets, and minimize maintenance.
The project is needed to preserve and extend the service life of the roadway. Deficiencies within the project limits include pavement in “fair” condition, transportation management systems assets in “poor” condition, and on-standard items including Metal Beam Guard Rails and signs.
