Document Description
The applicant proposes the installation of a natural gas wood chip dryer, including bag houses, auger, bag station and other ancillary equipment, will be used for the production of wood pellets within existing warehouses D and E as shown on the proposed site plan. The applicant will utilize wood and other agricultural biomass byproducts from orchard removals and agricultural operations throughout the San Joaquin Valley and use the existing facility to reduce in size arid densify these byproducts into value added products. The operation will consist of a hammermilling line to generate flour, a pelletizing line to generate wood pellets and a rotary drum dryer to reduce the moisture content of the byproducts as needed.
