Document Description
Active transportation consists of all human-powered travel alternatives such as walking and biking. Other small electric-powered equipment such as scooters and e-bikes are also a part of active transportation. With a desire to create safe and equitable access to active transportation, three goals were established for the plan: Goal 1 - Increase active transportation safety in Buena Park by improving the City’s infrastructure; Goal 2 - Identify and address gaps within the City’s transportation network by creating well-connected active transportation facilities; Goal 3 - Integrate active transportation access with transit, jobs, schools, parks, and other essential services/ destinations.
