The project is requesting funds to be used to purchase and install a soccer mini pitch at the Borrego Springs Boys and Girls Club. The proposed location is currently a shaded basketball court that is no longer serving its purpose. The children who attend the Boys and Girls Club are more interested in soccer and have temporary soccer goals in place. The goal of installing the soccer mini pitch is to draw more children to the Boys and Girls Club and invest in better community facilities within Borrego Springs.
