Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number EPIMS-HUM-53409-R1C, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Joshua Sweet.
The project to be completed includes the dewatering and notching of two ponds (Pond-1 and Pond-2) for the purposes of rendering the ponds incapable of storing water with the intent to minimize the likelihood of failure following the occurrence of a landslide.

Reasons for Exemption
The project will minimize the amount of water stored in two ponds with failing outlets. This project is an interim measure to be followed by full pond decommissioning. There would be no significant adverse impact on endangered, rare or threatened species or their habitat pursuant to section 15065. There are no hazardous materials at or around the project site that may be disturbed or removed. The project will not result in impacts that are significant when viewed in connection with the effects of past projects, the effects of other current projects, and the effects of probable future projects.
