Document Description
Proposal to install a 126 linear foot vinyl wall with 6 foot wall returns on each end. The wall will be backfilled with approximately 30 cubic yards of ¾” lightweight drain rock to the top of the wall which will stand at 4 ft tall. The wall will be built based on the structural specs provided on the finalized structural engineered drawings. Lake disturbance will include the installation of the vinyl sheets into the lakebed approximately 2-ft in front of the existing wood retaining wall. Work crews would park vehicles on the driveway of the house which is accessed through 1900 S. MainStreet and access the construction site through the property. Planned work would be done from land, but if there is enough water to float equipment, floats will be used to assist in the work. The equipment would include the following: work float, 150 lb. pneumatic hammer, Ingersol compressor with air hoses, and one utility work truck. Due to the limited access for heavy equipment, tracked equipment will not be used. Work will take approximately one month from the start date. Vegetation is not present on site therefore no work is proposed that will require the removal of vegetation/ tules. A site plan is attached to this email.
