Volleyball court will require minor alterations to the land by excavating native soil and replacing with washed beach sand in an area that is currently used for recreation purposes and is adjacent to the existing playground. New construction will be the addition of a dog park which will require minor grading of the land and a new fence. No native vegetation will be removed for the construction of the new playground and volleyball court. A new irrigation system will be installed in areas that have previously been disturbed for an irrigation system that was installed in 1993. The irrigation upgrade will require some minor trenching, no more than 2 feet subsurface.
