Document Description
Tasmam Koyom (aka Humbug Valley) was re-acquired by the Maidu Summit Consortium (MSC) in the last decade and has been a priority for ecological and cultural restoration in recent years. This project will complete revegetation of native meadow trees and shrubs along Yellow and Humbug Creeks for use in cultural activities (e.g. basketry) and to promote habitat for wildlife including the recently reintroduced population of beaver. This project will enhance public recreation at the meadow by removing hazard trees at the MSC-owned campground and along the roads adjacent to the meadow.
