Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification No. EPIMS-SOL-47772-R3, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Vallejo Yacht Club, Inc. as represented Robert Lockhart. The Project is limited to dredging mud of the Vallejo Yacht Club marina. The design dredging depth is -10 feet mean lower low water, plus a 2-foot overdredge allowance, and is expected to be completed within two dredging episodes. Portions of the 5.7-acre dredge area would likely be dredged to shallower depths depending on the area’s required use and the owner’s budget. The maximum dredge volume (i.e., maintenance dredging and knockdowns) is 125,000 cubic yards. This is the maximum volume that would be dredged over the life of the Agreement, and all dredging or knockdowns would be within the dredge boundary. A barge mounted clamshell dredge or excavator will be used to excavate the material, which will be immediately loaded into scows or barges and disposed of at sites approved by the Dredged Material Management Office.
