Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification No. EPIMS-SMO-46266-R3, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Peninsula Open Space Trust as represented by Daniel Olstein. The Project modifies the existing water diversion operations from Butano Creek by eliminating dry-season withdrawals and increasing the water flows in Butano Creek during the dry-season to benefit sensitive species. The Project is limited to activities to 1) removal of the existing diversion intake infrastructure and replacement with new improved diversion infrastructure, 2) seasonal diversion under State Water Resource Control Board (SWRCB) Division of Water Rights, water rights A025337 and A033395, to an enlarged16-acre feet reservoir and 3) diversion from within the reservoir.
