Document Description
Governor Gavin Newsom signed AB 1576 on August 29, 2022, requiring court facilities to provide court-users access to lactation space. At this facility there are not impacts to environmental conditions on the property. An existing telephone booth space is being modified to meet the requirements of AB1576. The scope of work will include removal of existing telephone and wood trim from the walls, the patching and painting of the walls, a new door frame, door and hardware, new vinyl flooring over existing flooring, new stone base to match existing, patching and painting of walls and ceiling, and new dedicated 20A electrical circuit. New supply and return air will be needed along with new furniture. Also included will be new directional signage and wall-mounted signage to match existing.
