Document Description
The Alameda County Flood Control and Water Conservation District (District) proposes to improve the flooding resiliency of the existing Lake Merritt Pump Station located near 18 E 8th Street in the City of Oakland, Alameda County. Project improvements include: modifications to the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) and generator air intake/exhaust systems; modification of skylight, concrete skylight support, and roof drainage; flood proofing of exterior doors; and sealing exterior wall penetrations, openings and vents below elevation 13.8 (NAVD 88). The purpose of the project is to design and implement flood resiliency modification improvements to the Lake Merritt Pump Station to withstand future sea level rise.
