Document Description
The Project would undertake restoration activities which would improve and enhance a segment of Belmont Creek in Twin Pines Park by stabilizing eroded sections. Specific actions include widening the channel, raising the streambed, grading the bank, and constructing riffles. The stream restoration activities would improve water quality and enhance habitat and ecologic conditions along the creek. In addition, the Project would help alleviate downstream flooding and sedimentation, improve, and improve public safety. The Project would stabilize and enhance 458 LF of the creek bed and adjacent banks using biotechnical treatments and native riparian plantings.
