Document Description
The Solid Waste Management Division is proposing to allow the installation of underground electrical infrastructure along the Mid-Valley Sanitary Landfill (MVSL) entrance road, Bonhert Avenue, to provide power to the Bio-Fuels Archea landfill gas processing facility, and along Casmalia Avenue to power the SoCalGas interconnection facility. This installation is part of the previously analyzed Renewable Natural Gas Plant Project. To facilitate construction, operation, maintenance, and repair activities, the Solid Waste Management Division (SWMD) is establishing two easements on behalf of Southern California Edison: one north of Unit 4 on Bonhert Avenue and one south of Unit 1 on Casmalia Avenue at the Mid-Valley Sanitary Landfill (MVSL) within the city of Rialto. Bio-Fuels Biogas San Bernardino, LLC, and Southern California Edison are responsible for all work related to construction, operation, and maintenance. This proposal is solely for the establishment of the easements.
