Document Description
The Marvin Elementary School Whole Site Modernization Project (Proposed Project) project consists of the construction of a new UTK/Kindergarten classroom building that consists of 3 UTK classrooms, 4 Kindergarten classrooms and 2 flex classrooms, the renovation of 2 existing classroom buildings, kindergarten building, multipurpose building, kitchen building, administration building and site improvements. Renovations to the buildings include the modernization of classrooms, restrooms, and support spaces. A new entry to the administration building will be included for security and accessibility. Site improvements include accessibility and ADA path of travel upgrades. The project also includes the removal of all 8 existing portable buildings. At the completion of the project there will be a net increase in two classrooms (29 total), a net increase in one permanent building from 6 to 7, and an increase in total building square footage from 42,438 SF to 49,157 SF. Enrollment is projected to increase conservatively from 550 students to 608 students. Construction would begin in October of 2025 and last approximately 34 months.
