Document Description
The Department of Cannabis Control, pursuant to authority granted under Business and Profession Code, Division 10, Chapter 2, Section 26012, approved a Small Mixed-Light Tier 1 commercial cannabis license.The project will continue to operate 7,149.7 square feet of mature mixed-light cannabis canopy that includes nine (9) hoop-houses (five (5) 6’x100’, 4’5’’x45’8’’, 6’x54’1’’, 6’x66’5’’, 4’x80’), and two (2) 30’x96’ greenhouses, with 1,920 square feet of immature canopy and 22,011.7 square feet of associated support structures. Proposed reconfiguration activities will occur in previously disturbed area and will not add additional acreage to the Project. These activities include installation of two greenhouses for mature canopy cultivation (36’x96’ and 40’x96’) and installation of a 20’x100’ building for post-harvest processing. A permitted onsite well is used to supply water and an onsite septic system serves the project’s domestic wastewater needs.

Reasons for Exemption
The Department of Cannabis Control has determined that the project is consistent with the local jurisdiction community plan and/or zoning designations. CEQA mandates that the project is consistent with the development density established by existing zoning, community plan, or general plan policies for which an EIR was certified and shall not require additional environmental review, except as might be necessary to examine whether there are project-specific significant effects which are peculiar to the project or its site. The project activity fits within the parameters included in CEQA Guidelines Section 15183 and the activity does not require additional CEQA analysis.
