Document Description
The project would involve removing an existing sixty (60) inch diameter corrugated metal pipe (CMP) culvert at the site, and replacing it with a seven (7) foot, eleven (11) inch by five (5) foot, seven (7) inch aluminum multi-plate arch pipe culvert, commonly referred to as a “squash pipe culvert”. The existing culvert is corroded, and several holes have formed. The new culvert would be backfilled with slurry with a six (6) inch layer of slurry on top of the new pipe. A one (1) foot thick layer of road base would be placed forming a gravel road over the new culvert. The gravel road approaches to the culvert would have a five (5) percent slope.
