Document Description
The Department of Cannabis Control, pursuant to authority granted under Business and Procession Code, Section 26012, approved a commercial cannabis Retail license submitted on 04/19/2024, by Highway 132, Inc. The Project will consist of a retail cannabis facility located at 12150 Yosemite Blvd (APN 080-045-040-000) on a 21,780 square-foot (SF) parcel within a Commercial Highway Zoning District. The surrounding land uses are residential and commercial. The project will occupy 2,278 SF of one of 7 units of existing retail space within the building. No expansion is proposed. The project site is currently operating as a licensed retail cannabis facility, C10-0000736-LIC. The project is serviced by public utilities. The applicant estimates a total of 10 employees on site during operating hours and an estimated maximum occupancy of 30 employees during operating hours. Deliveries and shipments shall occur no more than two times per week.

Class 1 Categorical Exemptions consist of the operation, repair, maintenance, permitting, leasing, licensing, or minor alterations to existing public or private structures, facilities, mechanical equipment, or topographical features, involving negligible or no expansion of use beyond that existing at the time of the lead agency’s determination. None of the exceptions to this exemption defined in Section 15300.2 apply.
