Document Description
The project consists of the installation of a Flock Safety automated license plate reading (ALPR) camera to be installed on behalf of the Alameda Police Department. The proposed project consists of the installation of a 13' X SQRD REDITORQUE pole with a camera and solar panel to power the camera mounted to the pole with minimal ground disturbance consisting of the 3" by 48" pole anchor. The purpose of the installation is to provide law enforcement with the ability to respond to detect license plates associated with criminal activity and to assist law enforcement with intercepting these vehicles. The beneficiaries of the project are both law enforcement and the public at large as this installation will serve public safety interests and help make Alameda a safer community.
