The proposed project is categorically exempt from the provisions of the CEQA Guidelines pursuant to the Provisions of Title 14 of the California Administrative Code, Section 15302{c) {New Construction or Conversion of Small Structures) and 15303, which provides for the replacement or reconstruction of existing utility systems and/or facilities involving negligible or no expansion of capacity, and or new construction of small facilities or structures. The proposed project includes the drilling and construction of a new well to support an existing single family residence. The new well replaces an old well in a different location on the parcel. There is no reasonable possibility that the project would have a significant effect on the environment. No exceptions listed under Section 15300.2 apply.
