Document Description
Project proposes to construct an ADA complaint picnic and staging area adjacent to the existing visitor center to provide accessible recreational resources and to comply with California State Parks accessibility guidelines and associated legal mandates. Work will: Excavate to install a 50-ft long, 6-in trench drain with cleanout; Excavate to construct an approx. 15-ft long x 5.5-ft tall concrete retaining wall; Form and pour a 20-ft x 40-ft x 6-in. concrete pad; Construct a new approx. 20-ft x 40-ft steel-roofed shade ramada; Install three (3) new ADA accessible picnic tables in the ramada; Install one (1) new ADA accessible drinking fountain; and Construct a new shelter for information panels.
