Document Description
The Fall River Resource Conservation District (Fall River RCD), acting as the Lead Agency, will implement fuel reduction activities to improve the protection of homes, communities, critical infrastructure, and public and private lands from wildfire while protecting environmental, natural, and cultural resources. The project will reduce fuel loads in a predominately Sierran Mixed Conifer Forest located in Cayton Valley approximately 9 miles northwest of the community of Fall River Mills, CA. Targeted vegetation types within the project area are: woody brush, small diameter downed fuels, and small understory trees.
