Document Description
The Department of Cannabis Control, pursuant to authority granted under Business and Profession Code, Division 10, Chapter 2, Section 26012, approved a Small Outdoor commercial cannabis license.The Project will consist of up to 10,000 square feet (sf) of mature outdoor cannabis. Proposed activities include the cultivation of approximately 9,856 sf of mature outdoor cannabis in four (4) 23'x80' hoop houses and four (4) 8'x78' full-sun canopy beds; one (1) 20'x100' greenhouse is used for immature cannabis. Existing cannabis support infrastructure includes a 1,000 sq ft barn for processing and storage, two (2) permitted groundwater wells, three (3) hard plastic water storage tanks: one (1) 5,000gallon tank and two (2) 3,000gallon tanks. A 120 sq ft shed is also proposed for installation on previously disturbed area, including pesticide/fertilizer/fuel and generator storage. Power for the project site is provided through two on-site generators, with a plan to establish a connection to Trinity Public Utility District's grid.

Reasons for Exemption
The Department of Cannabis Control has determined that the project is consistent with the local jurisdiction community plan and/or zoning designations. CEQA mandates that the project is consistent with the development density established by existing zoning, community plan, or general plan policies for which an EIR was certified and shall not require additional environmental review, except as might be necessary to examine whether there are project-specific significant effects which are peculiar to the project or its site. The project activity fits within the parameters included in CEQA Guidelines Section 15183 and the activity does not require additional CEQA analysis.
