Document Description
Caltrans is proposing a HM-3 Tunnel Maintenance Project on three (3) tunnels on State Route 33 (VEN-33) between post mile (PM) 18.2 and PM 19.0 in Ventura County. The proposed work will take place on the following three (3) tunnels, the South Matilija Tunnel (Bridge No. 52-0068), Middle Matilija Tunnel (Bridge No. 52-0070), and the North Matilija Tunnel (Bridge No. 52-0072). The project scope includes replacing reinforced shotcrete over existing tunnel panels and spot removal and repair of bent tunnel ribs. No excavation is proposed, no public utilities will be relocated, and no new right-of-way will be acquired for the project.
