Document Description
This proposed project involves the development of 2.16 acres of undeveloped land into a drive-thru Raising Cane’s restaurant. Project activities include site preparation (ground clearing and removal of all vegetation); grading (grading of the entire Project site and construction of buildings, installation of utility lines, and underground infrastructure); paving, landscaping, and finishing (paving of parking lots) within the boundaries of the Project site; and other activities. The Project will result in incidental take of 1 western Joshua tree (Yucca brevifolia). which is protected under the WJTCA and the California Endangered Species Act. The WJTCA ITP referenced above as issued by CDFW authorizes incidental take of western Joshua tree that may occur as a result of Project implementation.
