Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Chad Mathisen. The project is limited to the repair of an existing elevated walkway, deck and swim platform/dock. The project will remove and replace the existing 5-foot by 110-foot wood pier walkway including the eighteen (18) wooden piles supporting the existing structure. A new 5- foot by 110-foot steel pier walkway with ten (10) 8-inch diameter steel piles will be installed to replace the old structure. In addition, an existing 16-foot by 26-foot wood deck will be replaced with new composite decking and hand railings, and installed on nine (9) existing 12-inch diameter wooden piles. The existing 2-inch by 12-inch pressure treated support joists and 2-inch by 10-inch pressure treated support joists will also be removed and replaced. Finally, the existing 12-foot by 28-foot wood swim platform will be removed and replaced with a new steel-framed composite deck supported by four (4) existing 12-inch diameter wood piles.
