The Alameda County Flood Control and Water Conservation District <District) owns
and maintains Ettie Street Pump Station. The project is located at Ettie Street Pump Station at 3455 Ettie Street in Oakland. California. The Ettie Street Pump Station was built in 1954 and seismic retrofit improvements were constructed in 1999. In 2022. concrete rehabilitation work was done. during this repair. additional needed repairs were identified. Visual site inspections and a structural review identified certain building structural elements needing additional rehabilitation. The required concrete rehabilitation work include removing and replacing portions of deteriorating concrete structural columns, beams. struts and floor slabs. and new grating /cover plates at the well and valve vault to extend the useful service life of the pump station. The purpose of the project is to rehabilitate the deteriorating concreate structure and to improve maintenance operations and extend the service life of the District's flood control
facility.
