Document Description
Project will conduct soil testing in and around the proposed site for the future California Indian Heritage Center (CIHC) to observe existing site conditions and evaluate soil properties to inform future plans for the construction of the CIHC. Work will use mechanical means to perform nine (9) hollow stem auger/mud rotary borings, ten (10) cone penetration test borings, and fourteen (14) push borings. Upon completion, all borings will be backfilled with neat cement grout and excess drill fluids and cuttings will be contained in 55-gallon drums, temporarily stored onsite, and subsequently disposed of offsite at a licensed disposal facility.
