Document Description
The Department of Cannabis Control, pursuant to authority granted under Business and Profession Code, Division 10, Chapter 2, Section 26012, approved a Small Mixed-Light Tier 1 commercial cannabis license. The activity will consist of 10,000 square feet of mixed-light cannabis cultivation. Mature plants are grown using mixed light in four (4) 30’x100’ hoop houses and one 30’x90’ hoop house, immature plants are on-site in one 30’x100’ hoop house and one 30’x50’ hoop house for a total of 4,500 square feet. There are existing support structures and areas for the project. An onsite well is used to supply water and an onsite septic system would serve the project’s domestic wastewater needs.

The Department of Cannabis Control has determined that the project is consistent with the local jurisdiction community plan and/or zoning designations. CEQA mandates that the project is consistent with the development density established by existing zoning, community plan, or general plan policies for which an EIR was certified and shall not require additional environmental review, except as might be necessary to examine whether there are project-specific significant effects which are peculiar to the project or its site. The project activity fits within the parameters included in CEQA Guidelines Section 15183 and the activity does not require additional CEQA analysis.
