The Project consists of a limited duration license for basic data collection and resource evaluation activities that will not result in a serious or major disturbance to an environmental resource. Additionally, the soil borings to collect geotechnical samples are minor alterations to land that will be restored upontermination of the license. These activities are categorically exempt under Class 6 Information Collection and Class 4 Minor Alterations to Land because it does not involve the removal of healthy, mature, scenic trees.
