Document Description
The project will include installation of electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE, or EV chargers) at the main administration building of the Zone 7 Water Agency. The project includes:
• Four (4) dual-port prefabricated charging unit pedestals for employee and visitor use in the public parking lot
• Two (2) single-port prefabricated charging unit pedestals that will serve two existing accessible parking spaces
• For compliance with the Americans with Disability Act (ADA), conversion of four (4) existing regular parking stalls to two (2) ADA stalls.
• Five (5) dual-port prefabricated charging unit pedestals in the secured fleet parking area for fleet use only.
Installation will require:
• Minor trenching of existing paved parking, paved walkway, and adjacent landscaping strips and installation of electrical conduit
• Installation of a 9-foot by 9-foot concrete pad in an existing landscaping strip
• Installation of a step-down transformer on the concrete pad
• Electrical connection of new EV chargers to existing electrical infrastructure
• Minor paving or concrete work for restoration and ADA compliance
• Associated parking lot striping and signage

None of the conditions noted under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines 15300.2 (as revised) will occur. Furthermore, this project will not result in potential for significant environmental impacts because:
There will be no native ground disturbance, and only limited impacts to ornamental landscaping.
Work will be limited to the smallest footprint practicable.
Work will have no or minimal construction-related nuisances to local residents, businesses, or recreational areas, such as disruptions to traffic and increased noise or dust, etc.
No impacts to sensitive habitat or wildlife are expected.
There is not a reasonable possibility that the project could result in a significant impact.
