Document Description
The Department of Cannabis Control, pursuant to authority granted under Business and Professions Code Division 10, Chapter 2, Section 26012, approved a cannabis cultivation license. The approved project is a Small Outdoor cultivation license. This project consists of an ongoing cannabis cultivation operation in an unincorporated area of Trinity County, California. The garden consists of 9992 sf of full sun mature plant canopy. The total area of disturbance, including roads is approximately 32,550 sf. It is situated in an area with an average slope of approximately 5-7%. Support facilities include four (4) 10'x12' storage sheds, two (2) 10'x10' compost areas, two (2) generators, solar panels and a portable toilet. Three water tanks with a combined storage capacity of 5,400 gallons are supplied by a permitted groundwater well and pump. The property utilizes an installed septic system serviced routinely as needed.

Reasons for Exemption
The Department of Cannabis Control has determined that the project is consistent with the local jurisdiction community plan and/or zoning designations. CEQA mandates that project is consistent with the development density established by existing zoning, community plan, or general plan policies for which an EIR was certified and shall not require additional environmental review, except as might be necessary to examine whether there are project-specific significant effects which are peculiar to the project or its site. The project activity fits within the parameters included in CEQA Guidelines Section 15183 and the activity does not require additional CEQA analysis.
