Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Streambed Alteration
Agreement No. EPIMS-KER-41511-R4, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the Applicant, Rosedale-Rio Bravo Water Storage District.
The Project includes routine, reoccurring maintenance activities to remove vegetation, accumulated sediment, and associated debris from the main, active channel of the South Fork Kern River, on the upstream side of two water diversion structures. A bypass channel will be excavated around each work area, a berm will be constructed from the spoils to direct flow, sediment will be removed around the diversion heads, and the sediment will be placed on the bank for removal offsite.
