Document Description
The Department of Cannabis Control, pursuant to authority granted under Business and Procession Code, Section 26012, approved a commercial cannabis Specialty Indoor license. The Project will consist of Conditional Use Permit to operate a cannabis cultivation facility within an existing 20,500-sq. ft. warehouse on a 0.93-acre parcel in the Light Industrial, Solid Waste Restricted (M-1S-SWR) zone. And the modification of the floor plan changes to the interior of an existing building, including the reduction of the square footage of a previously approved cultivation area to 5000 square feet or less, and to reallocate the area into distribution area and manufacturing area.

The Department of Cannabis Control has determined that the project is a Class 1 Categorical Exemption project. Class 1 Categorical Exemptions consist of the operation, repair, maintenance, permitting, leasing, licensing, or minor alterations to existing public or private structures, facilities, mechanical equipment, or topographical features, involving negligible or no expansion of use beyond that existing at the time of the lead agency’s determination. None of the exceptions to this exemption defined in Section 15300.2 apply.
