Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification Number SJN-46677 -R2, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Harry Lee. The project is limited to the removal and replacement of an existing log swim barrier and the recontouring of the riverbed near the shoreline to restore the natural flow channel. The swim barrier has existed since the 1960’s and is general disrepair. The existing logs will be removed from the site and disposed offsite. Eight (8) new logs will be brought in and placed in the same footprint and affixed with two (2) 5/8’s inch diameter steel rods. The rods will be driven up to two (2) feet into the soil with hand tools and will be tied to the logs to stabilize them.
