Document Description
The Proposed Project would replace the headgate at SSWD’s Main Diversion Structure, located downstream of Camp Far West Reservoir, with three Rubicon SlipMeters (slide gates) and would include installation of Supervisory Control Data Acquisition (SCADA) equipment for remote monitoring and control of the new gate structure. The objective of the Proposed Project is to modernize the gates at SSWD’s Main Canal in order to increase efficiency of water distribution in the water district. Goals include implementing modern flow measurement and control technologies to improve operations, increase compliance with current and future regulations, and improve water use and delivery efficiency.
