Document Description
The Department of Cannabis Control, pursuant to authority granted under Business and Procession Code, Section 26012, approved ten Small Indoor cultivation licenses, as well as a nursery, processor, distribution and manufacturing license for ANT Green LLC. The Project will consist of cannabis cultivation, manufacturing and distribution operations at 3625 East 18th St, Antioch CA, 94509 (APN 051-052-094). will occur inside an existing 95,420 SF building on a 7.38 acre lot. The proposed project includes 10 Small Indoor cultivation areas with a maximum 10,000 SF canopy for each, licensed nursery and processor areas, and a distribution and manufacturing area consisting of 7,785 SF. The project site will be served by public utilities including power, water, and waste.

The Department of Cannabis Control has determined that the project is a Class 1 Categorical Exemption Project. Class 1 Categorical Exemptions consist of the operation, repair, maintenance, permitting, leasing, licensing, or minor alterations to existing public or private structures, facilities, mechanical equipment, or topographical features, involving negligible or no expansion of use beyond that existing at the time of the lead agency’s determination. The Project involves the use of an existing building with no proposal for expansion. The design, location, size, and operating characteristics of the Project are compatible with the existing and future land uses within the vicinity as it is zoned for light industrial.
