Document Description
Project includes the rehabilitation of the existing northwest and southwest filter backwash hood facilities and track system. More specifically, the work includes the removal and reinstallation of the facilities from the filter basins; preparation and coating of the backwash hoods, bridge, and pump house; the replacement of piping, fittings, valves, and flowmeters; the replacement of hydraulic system; and the replacement of electrical conduit, wires, motors, variable frequency drives, outlets, lights and panels. Work also includes the replacement of the track system along the filter basins. The purpose of the project is to extend the life and improve the efficiency of the existing northwest and southwest filter backwash hood facilities. These improvements will benefit the District's rate payers.
