Document Description
The project proposes the acquisition and partial demolition and rehabilitation of an existing building for a Behavioral Health Services facility. Exterior improvements include partial demolition and repair on the existing building, building facade maintenance, repair and replacement of roof, installation of solar panels on roof, maintenance on the gravel road and site improvements such as repaving and restriping the parking lot, installation of electrical charging stations and a monument sign, and lighting, landscaping, and drainage improvements. Interior improvements would include installation of a new elevator.

Class 1 consists of the operation, repair, maintenance, permitting, leasing, licensing, or minor alteration of existing public or private structures, facilities, mechanical equipment, or topographical features, involving negligible or no expansion of existing or former use. The project proposes the acquisition and partial demolition and rehabilitation of an existing public services building for a Behavioral Health Services facility. There is no change in land use, and the site does not contain a listed hazardous waste site, is not on a scenic highway, and there are no listed historic properties on or adjacent to the site. The project is consistent with the general plan, and has no habitat for special status species The project will be served by existing utilities. Therefore, there are no exceptions to the exemptions, and the project would have no adverse effect on the environment.
