Document Description
San Luis Obispo County Public Works (County) is proposing to repair sudden and unexpected damage to a culvert and roadway for purposes of public safety prior to the upcoming rainy season. The project will involve removing the existing collapsed culvert and damaged concrete headwalls. replacing them with a new culvert and rock slope protection at the inlet and outlet. The road surface will be restored to grade and paved with asphalt. The existing footprint of the facility will undergo minor adjustments to correct the culvert alignment and ensure that the RSP is at a suitable grade. All relevant permitting agencies will be notified of the work. including California Fish and Wildlife. Regional Water Quality Control Board. and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. During review of the project. no exceptions as described in Section 15300.2 of the CEOA Guidelines were determined to be applicable.
