Document Description
The Reservoir 20B Project would involve installation of a pre-stressed concrete reservoir with a water storage capacity of 1.3 million gallons (DSRSD will determine a final optimal reservoir capacity). The reservoir would have a diameter of approximately 102 feet and footprint of approximately 17,500 square feet, and would be located underground at the top of a hill within the project site. At this location, the reservoir would have a similar elevation to the existing Reservoir 20A, located approximately 1.4 miles northwest of the project site, so that the hydraulic gradient throughout the District’s Zone 20 system remain consistent. The project would involve installation of an access staircase, 425-foot storm drain pipeline, and a 1,000-foot water supply main pipeline. The project would also include a sewer connection to the sewer system planned for the surrounding East Ranch Development, and a future access road. Although the access road would not be constructed at this time, it is considered in this IS-MND. Construction is anticipated to occur over 15 months.
