Document Description
The California Department of Transportation, District 4 Maintenance Division is conducting environmental studies for a proposed Director’s Order (DO) to repair a failed culvert that has caused pavement settlement along Highway 280, postmile 10.157 in the City Belmont, San Mateo County, resulted from winter storms in 2024. Work includes removing and replacing the culvert, grinding and paving, trenching and shoring and backfill. No work will take place outside of the Caltrans right of way (ROW). This emergency work is necessary to prevent or mitigate the loss or impairment of life, property, or essential service and to maintain safety of the public.
