Document Description
UC Davis proposes an interior renovation of the Fire and Police Department Dispatch/Command Central Room, located across from Briggs Hall and behind Transportation and Parking Services, on Kleiber Hall Drive. The project will modernize and update two rooms in the existing Fire and Police Building by demolishing the wall between Rooms 106 and 104A to create a new, large room to serve as the Security Operations Center. The project will install new campus security workstations and consoles, and upgrades to building mechanical and electrical systems, HVAC , data infrastructure, and internal finishes.

This exemption applies to the operation, repair, maintenance or minor alteration of existing public or private structures, facilities or mechanical equipment, involving negligible or no expansion of the existing use. In addition, none of the exceptions for application of a categorical exemption apply to this project.
