Exempt Status
Categorical Exemption
Type, Section or Code
CEQA 15061(b)(3)
Reasons for Exemption
This Project is exempt from CEQA because the Housing Element is a general, overarching guidance and policy document to promote equity for a City's housing supply, and does not dictate any specific measures to be taken in any single housing development. Therefore, it can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility that the Project will result in u significant effect on the environment. As such, the commonsense exemption would apply, and this Project would be considered exempt based on CEQA Exemption 15061(b)(3).
