Document Description
The project will install approximately 0.25ac of Wildlife Habitat Planting (USDA NRCS CPS 420) and Hedgerow Planting (USDA NRCS CPS 422) on a small livestock farm. Habitat enhancement will include flowering native plant vegetation to benefit native pollinator species, emphasizing habitat for the monarch butterfly and certain bumblebee species, in a foothill woodland site previously treated for wildfire mitigation and forest health. Amador RCD will provide technical assistance and plant, irrigation, and fencing material resources to the landowner for project implementation through the Climate Resilience Through Habitat Restoration on California Lands grant funding. The landowner with responsible for habitat installation and maintenance.
