Reasons for Exemption
The project involves the private grading and construction of a new agricultural facility within an existing vineyard on land with a slope of less than 10%, which does not involve the removal of any natural vegetation or habitat, or is located in any environmentally sensitive areas or resources or hazardous areas. Water use would not result in significant drawdown effects to neighboring wells or affect surface waters. The project area is not located within any waterway or a biologically sensitive area, or a geologic hazard area or landslide area, or situated on a recognized hazardous waste site, or that would affect cultural or scenic resources. The proposed project would not substantially interfere with the movement of wildlife or available wildlife habitat or result in significant changes in other environmental parameters. The project will not contribute to increases in local off-site stream flows or sediment levels. There are no unusual circumstances associated with this project or the project site that would cause it to have a significant effect on the environment.
